A blog title that seemingly makes no sense… risky first post?
Upon first glance, it may look like a made-up term (spoiler alert… it is).
Let’s break it apart.
An egoist is someone who places importance on their own interests, over everything else.
A utilitarian on the other hand is someone who places emphasis on the best interests of others.
Now, apply some creativity and you arrive at the purpose which empowers our writing.
An egotistical utilitarian is someone who makes selfish decisions for themselves (ego) which in turn benefits the most amount of people (utilitarian).
Simply put… what’s good for me, is good for you.
